Nicholas Campbell

 

 

Nicholas Campbell is an actor/writer/producer from Ixopo, South Africa. He graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2011. While at UCT he was nominated for the Fluer du Cap award for ‘Most Promising Student Actor’ in South Africa for his performance as the title role in Geoffrey Hyland’s critically acclaimed ‘Salome’.

 

Immediately after graduating he began the international tour of “Between”; a show Nicholas work-shopped with actor/writer Oskar Brown. The show achieved sold-out runs in Dublin, Brighton, Cape Town, Berlin and the Edinburgh fringe festival as well as the “King’s Head” theatre in London.

 

In Cape Town, Nicholas has worked with both the Artscape and Baxter national theatres. He has played Demetrius in ‘A midsummer nights dream’ and Gerado in Shakespeare’s “lost” play ‘Cardenio’ at Maynardville open-air theatre.

 

Nicholas will make his lead role film debut as ‘Ben’, in foreign language feature ‘Gat in die Muur’, in June this year.

Jeśka Pike

 

Jeśka is a film and theatre actress, raised in South Africa and trained both in South Africa and New York City. After completing her honours degree in Theatre and Performance from the University of Cape Town, she went on to the New York Film Academy, where she received a diploma in acting for film.

 

​She recently appeared as 'Monica Cole' in award-winning Steve Rahaman’s action drama Pain, released in 2015. As well as her short and feature film work, her theatre credits include the passionate and tragic heroine, ‘Adela,’ in The House of Bernarda Alba, ‘Clytemnestra’ in the brilliant Geoffrey Hyland’s Agamemnon and strong-willed ‘May’ in Sam Shepard’s A Fool for Love.

 

Jeśka is trained in contemporary dance, singing and voice as well as her acting training and has a black belt in karate.

Emily Wyatt

 

 

Born just outside of Reading, Emily attended stage school for 8 years and spent a lot of her time on stage at the Kenton Theatre in Henley. She went on to study Drama and Creative Writing in Bristol. After her degree Emily studied for her post grad at Drama Studio London.

 

Last year she made her UK TV debut as Ruby in Casualty for the BBC; this year she will also be appearing as Layla in Doctors. Next year Emily hopes to break free from hospital dramas. 

 

After studying directing in Bristol Emily developed a passion for it and last year she made her directorial debut with Moving Up in the World at the Lost theatre.
